Hoje, se eu fosse um quadro...

Era um Jackson Pollock... Sinto-me tão perdida!

Jackson Pollock, Number 1, 1950 (Lavender Mist),1950, National Gallery of Art, Ailsa Mellon Bruce Fund

"(...) Pollock used the patterns caused by the separation and marbling of one enamel wet in another, the tiny black striations in the dusty pink, to produce an infinity of tones." Robert Hughes, 1982, na Revista Times sobre "Lavender mist";

JACKSON POLLOCK, Autumn Rhythm (painted in 1950, oil on canvas)
This is an example of Abstract Expressionism. This huge (over 8 ft. x 17 ft.) canvas is an example of what Pollock called "action painting" -- created by dripping and spilling paint on to a canvas stretched on the floor. This composition is intended to project a sense of energy and motion.
